About Ovarian Cancer

Morgan Gaynor was diagnosed with stage IV low-grade serous ovarian carcinoma in September 2019 at age 30. She now volunteers her time to help raise ovarian cancer awareness and raise funds for important life-saving research.

Approximately 300,000 women will be diagnosed with ovarian cancer this year.

When diagnosed in the early stages, the five-year survival rate is over 90%. Unfortunately, most cases of ovarian cancer are diagnosed in the late stages and survival rates are much lower.
